I read a couple interesting articles today about how to get pregnant naturally. So many couples go through fertility treatment and endure months of shots, IVF, and more in an attempt to produce what should be a easy, natural event. And as always, be sure to take a prenatal vitamin as soon as you begin to try to conceive. Women should take at least 400 mcg of Folic Acid during pregnancy, especially the first few weeks, to prevent neural tube defects. Prenatal DHA is also a great addition to your prenatal vitamin.

I agree that Folic Acid is really important. I don’t usually take dietary supplements as I think it’s important to eat a healthy balanced die but made an exception for Folic Acid. It’s almost impossible to consume the quantity required to during early pregnancy on a healthy diet and also, by the time you’ve taken your pregnancy test it’s already too late.
